We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officer to promote and sell our micronutrient products to farmers, retailers, and distributors. The role involves field-level sales, farmer education, product demonstrations, and channel development. The candidate should have good knowledge of crop nutrition and a strong network in the assigned territory.
✅ Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for micronutrient products.
Promote and demonstrate products to farmers, agri-input retailers, and co-operatives.
Expand the dealer/distributor network in the assigned area.
Ensure product availability and visibility at retail points.
✅ Farmer Engagement & Promotion
Organize farmer meetings, field demos, and training sessions to educate on proper use of micronutrients.
Provide basic agronomic guidance on nutrient management.
Collect testimonials and feedback from satisfied users for promotion.
✅ Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.
Collect and report real-time feedback from the field to management.
✅ Reporting & Coordination
Maintain daily visit reports and sales data.
Coordinate with the supply chain team for timely delivery of products.
Follow up on payments and ensure account settlements.
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agri-Business or related field.
Good knowledge of plant nutrition and micronutrient application.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Field-oriented, self-motivated, and target-driven.
Familiar with local cropping patterns and regional languages.
Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas.
Experience in micronutrients, fertilizers, or crop protection product sales.
Candidates from the same geography will be preferred.
Freshers with strong agri background and passion for rural sales can also apply.
